What do I have to install and why?
The PutPlace Client? It's a piece of software that helps your computer talk to PutPlace. This is where you select the content you want backed up. You can add or remove files and folders etc. and PutPlace will automatically upload and continuously back it up.
Try this next time you are online. Open the PutPlace window on your screen. Open a file that you have already backed up to PutPlace and change it in some way. Save it. Watch - you will see the file immediately and automatically backing up to PutPlace. Strangely satisfying, isn't it?!
